Privacy
In plain words: what we keep about you and where, who processes it, and how to delete it.
On your device
What you type or upload is saved first in your browser, on your device, so your CV stays with you even offline. When you upload a file, we read it on your device and send only its text, not the file itself.
On our server
As you edit, we keep a copy of your CV on our server, linked to your session, so it isn't lost and you can open it on another device. Before you sign in the session is a temporary one with no name; when you sign in, your CV moves to your account.
Your account
To sign you in we keep your mobile number or email address and send it a sign-in code. If you continue with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
The assistant and file reading
When you ask the assistant for a change or upload a CV for us to read, we send your CV's text and what you wrote to AI model providers, today Google and Anthropic, usually through OpenRouter and sometimes to Google directly. We send it only to do what you asked. Don't put anything in your CV you would not want to share, such as an ID number.
Talking instead of typing
If you use the microphone to talk to the assistant, your browser turns your voice into text with its own speech service (Google in Chrome, Apple on iPhone and Safari), under that company's privacy terms. We receive only the text. If you'd rather not, type instead.
Cookies
We use one cookie for your session and one that remembers your language if you choose it, and we keep your theme choice on your device. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Service logs
Our servers keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to protect the service from abuse.
Deleting your data
On your Account page you can delete your account and every CV we keep for it, for good. To delete the copy on your device, clear this site's data in your browser. If you never signed in, write to us and we will help.
